FD Privacy

This Privacy Policy explains what FuelDosth collects, how we use it, and your choices. We ask only for what we need to serve you better, and we do not sell your personal information. Our Terms of Service also apply.

FuelDosth is the operator of this App (a proprietary concern based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India). We provide FuelDosth for users in India. For privacy questions, account requests, or concerns about this Policy, email contact-support@fueldosth.in.

This Policy applies to the FuelDosth mobile App and related services that link to it. It does not cover third-party websites, maps, stores, or apps we do not control.

May include: name, username, email, mobile, city, state, avatar; sign-in for OTP and/or Google; fuel preference; vehicles; fuel logs; station contributions; optional mechanic flags; support messages; and interest in features such as Pit Stop.

May include device and app technical details, usage and diagnostic logs where implemented, and approximate or precise location when you grant permission.

Google (if you sign in with Google) may provide basic profile details you allow. OTP providers (for example MSG91) may process delivery metadata needed to verify your mobile number.

We use it to run your account, find nearby stations, validate contributions, manage credits and leaderboard, personalize defaults, provide support, detect fraud and abuse, improve the App, and send essential service notices. You may opt out of non-essential promotional messages.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

Only as needed: service helpers (OTP, maps, cloud hosting, analytics if used, ads if/when enabled); public display on leaderboard (top 25) and contribution attributions; legal or safety requirements; or a business transfer (merger/sale) under applicable law.

If you rank in the top 25 or your updates appear on station details, limited profile information may be visible to others. Choose a username and avatar you are comfortable sharing.

We request location to show nearby stations and help keep contributions trustworthy. You can revoke permission in device settings; some features may not work fully. We do not use location to sell your personal data.

We keep personal information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, security, and legal needs. After deletion we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable time, except limited records we must keep. Aggregated anonymized data may remain.

Subject to applicable Indian law (including DPDP as applicable), you may access and update profile data, request correction or deletion, withdraw optional consent (such as location), and opt out of non-essential promotions. Essential account and security notices may continue. Email contact-support@fueldosth.in to exercise rights.

The App is not directed to persons under 18. If you believe we collected such information, contact contact-support@fueldosth.in and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method is completely secure; we work continuously to protect the trust you place in us.

We aim to store and process data in India where feasible. Service helpers may process data as needed. Where processing occurs outside India, we take steps consistent with applicable law.

The App primarily uses account and session tokens to keep you signed in. Any FuelDosth website that links to this Policy may use cookies as described there or in a supplementary notice.

The App may open third-party maps, stores, or websites. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

We may update this Policy and the Last updated date. For material changes we will provide notice in the App and/or email where reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
